Organising Committee Common wealth Games 2010 Delhi has said that intense effort is being made to address all issues over the Games Village residential zone raised by Commonwealth Games Federation President Mr. Mike Fennell and by Commonwealth Games Associations of some nations and territories.
“We are aware of the concern show by some members who are here in connection with the participation in next month’s Commonwealth Games,” Organising Committee Secretary-General Dr. Lalit K Bhanot said at a media conference. “The situation is under control and we are confident that when the teams arrive on the evening of September 23, the residential wing will be clean.”
